Building Bridges
In all my professional activities, I strive to balance the forces between diverse social fields, because no field exists in isolation – all are constantly interacting with one another.

As Pierre Bourdieu clearly stated: “The autonomy of a field is always relative, because each field is in relation with other fields and is influenced by them.” This understanding shapes my approach and guides my efforts to build bridges rather than deepen divides.
Dialogue Between Cultures
Social fields also cross national boundaries, and cultures are not isolated units but part of a global network of mutual relationships. Therefore, a continuous dialogue between cultures and countries is essential, as is a constant balancing of their different perspectives.
On this basis, an understanding between cultures emerges, and cooperation as well as economic collaboration can thrive. In line with the Austrian saying: “Through talking, people come together” – in other words, people from different fields are brought together through dialogue.
New Technologies
Progress stems from new insights and visionary inventions – the heartbeat of an ever-evolving society. Technological advancements transform our world and create a future full of possibilities. Especially in the era of artificial intelligence, it is crucial to act with optimism and foresight for the benefit of humanity and future generations.
While new technologies of all kinds can sometimes cause disruption, the integration and application of groundbreaking technologies remain a valuable contribution to society. Personal interests of individuals in key positions must not hinder the introduction of new technologies; decision-makers should use their experience and wisdom to support their implementation.

This applies not only to artificial intelligence and technological inventions, but to innovations across all areas of life. As Pierre Bourdieu highlighted: one must innovate in order to better preserve. Through innovation, our society has continually evolved, adapted to current developments, and will continue to do so in the future.
